Two-Snake Day in Bagan

Fortunately, the cobra wasn't the one that I dislodged from the ruined temple I was climbing. Rather, it was dead, having had an unpleasant run-in with washerwomen on the riverbank. The ~1.3-meter-long live one seemed about as surprised to end up on my feet as I was to briefly host it there.

Turns out that other nations have national parks too. I spent a day in one of Thailand's.

Caveats about this little set:
  • The ratio of critter to waterfall pictures below is out of whack - I just haven't bothered to sort most of the day's shots.
  • The gigantic toad wasn't actually in the park, but he was adjacent the stack of photos, so he gets a location upgrade.

Violence in Bangkok

Better that confrontational blows happen inside Lumpini Stadium, rather than outside of it.
